Author Lecture - Andrea di Robilant

Author Andrea di Robilant will discuss his 2018 Hemingway biography, “Autumn in Venice: Ernest Hemingway and His Last Muse,” Wednesday March 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Key West Public Library, 700 Fleming St. The book is an intimate look at Hemingway in his later years when he wrote the seminal short novel, “The Old Man and the Sea,” which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

Andrea di Robilant is a journalist and writer who lives in Rome and Venice. He is the author of five books of nonfiction, including “A Venetian Affair,” and “Lucia: A Venetian Life in the Age of Napoleon.” Free and open to the public. Seating is limited.

Author Lecture - Rosalind Brackenbury

Poet Rosalind Brackenbury will read from her new collection of poems, “Invisible Horses,” at 6:00 p.m., Feb. 27, at the Key West Library, 700 Fleming Street.

Brackenbury has served as Poet Laureate of Key West and published several collections of poetry as well as several novels, including “Paris Still Life,” and most recently, “The Lost Love Letters of Henri Fournier.” Free. Seating is limited.

Author Lecture: Katrin Schumann

Author Katrin Schumann discusses her debut novel, “The Forgotten Hours,” at 6PM, Feb. 20, at the Key West Public Library, 700 Fleming Street in Key West. Schumann is the author of five nonfiction books and has been featured multiple times on NBC’S Today, Talk of the Nation, and in The Times (London), as well as other national and international media outlets.
